Telling the time to 5 minutes

I was learning to tell the time now I know that from the 1 to the 2 that there are 5 minutes. It was easy because I knew how to count in fives.

I was learning to make inferences to figure out what the character is like.  Now I know we have to look for clues in the story.   I have to use the clues to figure out the characters in one chapter there are lots of words to read.

I was learning to think about direct speech. Now I know how you put them in the right order and place in my writing.

We looked at a picture of Red Riding Hood and described what we saw.

Multiplying in fives

I was learning to multiply.  Now I know I can count groups in my fives to figure out how many there are.  It was a little tricky because I didn't know what to count sometimes.

I was learning to count back from the bigger number.  Now I know you need to count backwards.  It was easy because I used the number line to count backwards.

Reflection
I was learning to look for features in non-fiction books.  Now  I know that non-fiction books have sub headings.  It was tricky because to remember what the name of the features.

I was learning to use speech marks now I know where to put speech marks. It was easy to use speech marks because when we talk.  I also learned to use sequencing words.  Now I know they help us with understanding your writing because they put them in order.

I was learning  to show 2-digit numbers in tens and ones. It was tricky to because at first of all you will have a card.

I was learning to make predictions. I know prediction because the front cover but it was tricky because it was to hard to think of examples from my life.

I was learning to spell blend sounds. I was learning about blend sound's. Now I know how to blend sound's so it is easy now
