Nonsense poem

Here is the news.
Here is the the news:

There is a box in socks
and that box in socks is drinking coco pops.

The coco pops are popping
He felt like shopping so he went shopping.

And the box in socks saw a book called bee!
The box in socks loved the book. The author was Lee.

The box in socks brought the book back home.
The box in socks read it it was a bad bad book.

The box in socks threw the book into the trash.
And then died because the box in socks ate popping coco pops and bash.

Mokomoko fact

We have been learning about lizards because we are looking after the school lizard garden. Something I found easy was looking for lizard photos on Flickr. Something I enjoyed was writing the facts down and labelling the parts of a lizard. Something I found tricky was finding key facts. Next I will to try to think quickly about what ideas I want to choose.

Dear Mum Dad,

I can hear twittering birds outside, whispering and I can see books everywhere. And I can see people reading quietly. I can smell pages that smell like rotten pear that looks squishy and books that smell like honey. I feel the pages so silky and smooth. I can see the books getting flipped over. I can see trees outside. They look prickly but they are not. I can see classes working and the classes look colourful.
were am I ?

from,
Harry

We have been learning to describe a setting by using our senses. I enjoyed thinking about were I was.
Something I found tricky was the typing. Next I will try to start my sentences differently.
